About

The Harpham & Lowthorpe Village Hall is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation run by Trustee Volunteers who reside in and around the Harpham Parish located in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The hall was originally built in 1933 and was quickly established as a community hub by our local Women’s Institute and has since hosted generations of family parties, christenings & wakes and many a musical event and annual produce show. It has been and continues to be the much-loved home of many common interest groups and clubs.

The hall is suitable for a variety of events and private functions and is available for hire 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 11:30pm. This is YOUR village hall and we encourage you to support and make use of this valuable community asset.

The Trustee Volunteers usually meet at the hall each month and we would encourage you to attend should you wish to become involved. The exact timing of these meetings can be found in the events diary on our Bookings page. If you’d like to know more about what’s involved in being a Trustee, then the document here may help you decide whether it’s something you’d like to do.

We are also pleased to be a member and have the support of the East Riding Village Halls Network.
